コース名称・期間・内容
General English・週25時間授業
スピーキング、リスニング、リーディング、ライティングと、英語学習のあらゆる側面からコミュニケーション英語を学ぶコースです。リーディングやリスニングの訓練に加えて、明解で筋が通った英文を書く、そして話す力を身につけます。これから大学などに進学する前に、必要な英語力をぜひ養成したいという学生向けに構成されています。
留学期間は、2月～4月の9週間です（授業は5週＋（1週休み）＋3週の8週）。

教員による印象・コメント
南半球にあるオーストラリアは季節が逆になります。冬にあたる8月、9月のパースの気温は、最高気温18度、最低気温8度ぐらいで名古屋の冬よりは快適です。逆に1月、2月の夏は17度から35度と日差しが豊かにふりそそぎます。パースの愛称はCity of Sunshineです。
UWAキャンパスは、市内の喧噪から離れ、Kings Parkに隣接する静かな環境にあります。また、CELTも含めてキャンパスには豊富な木々が植えられ、植物園にいるような印象を持ちます。（深谷輝彦）
