



| (1) | Regular study times with advice and practice provided by SJU student volunteers. |
| (2) | An overnight study tour to historic Kyoto. Also, visits to one of Japan's oldest castles, local industries and museums. |
| (3) | Enjoyable hands-on cultural experiences such as making pottery, designing your own Japanese fan or dying cloth Yuzen-style, dressing up in genuine Noh costumes, learning how to put on a kimono, attending tea ceremony, etc. |
| (4) | Overnight stays with a Japanese family. |
| (5) | Experiencing intern programs at Japanese companies (and schools,if possible). |
